He may immerse them even on Yom Tov, since this is a mere stringency; the Tevilah is are for extra Taharah and not for removing Tum'ah. There is no question of Tikun Kli in this case (RABEINU CHANANEL, RAMBAM, Perush ha'Mishnah)
