Yossie thought he’d never forget the thankful expression on Mrs. Schwartz face as she handed him her small shopping list. Quick as a flash, Yossie ran to the corner. How proud he felt as he saw the familiar red and white awning of Roth’s Grocery Store.

With a big grin on his face, Yossie gave the grocer Mrs. Schwartz’s shopping list. He then carefully carried the bag of groceries to Mrs. Schwartz’s house.

Mrs. Schwartz received Yossie with a great big “thank you” and a special Erev Shabbos hug. Happy as could be, Yossie hurried home to get dressed for Shabbos.
