Working in conjunction with Israel's major mental health centers, Zimra supplements the treatment given to patients through the following programs:
- Music therapy for hospital ward patients by qualified professionals
- Regular hospital and home visits by warm and caring volunteers
- Regular distribution of food packages and colorful printed material
- Supervised field trips throughout the land of Israel
- Subsidized housing for married mentally ill couples
- Medical referrals for family members of newly diagnosed patients
- Counseling and emotional support by professionals and trained volunteers
- Special activities on Jewish holidays
