The Ozar Hatora Story

Our story begins 50 years ago. It is a story that crosses
the globe and touches hundreds of thousands of Jewish lives.

It is a story of understanding the mutual responsibility our people
have for each other...and no one had a better understanding of
that than our founder. Isaac Shalom, Z"l.
He personally visited devastated Jewish communities troughout the world. Seeing masses of hungry, illiterate children, he determined never to surrender the spiritual fateof this people, never to abandon these "forgotten million". He knew what had to be done. Isaac Shalom turned his dream into reality.
He called his movement Ozar Hatorah.
