YOMA 59-88 have been dedicated to the memory of the late Dr. Simcha
Bekelnitzky (Simcha Gedalya ben Shraga Feibush) of Queens N.Y. by his wife
and daughters. Well known in the community for his Chesed and Tzedakah, he
will long be remembered.

- This verse is an example of "Lishnah Me'alya" (euphamism), where the
subject is adultry.

chaste as a locked garden, My sister, O bride; a spring that is locked up, a
sealed fountain." (Shir ha'Shirim 4:12) - This verse describes the
exceptionally moral behavior of the Jews in Egypt.
