RASHI writes that the land of Hinduyin is another name for the land of Kush, which may be either Ethiopia or an area near India called Hindakush; (b) Alternatively, RABEINU CHANANEL and RAMBAM in Peirush ha'Mishnayos write that Pelusin and *Hindevin* are Arabic names for white linen garments that differ only in the style of their cut.
