1)
Rava holds that a woman may make the Chafifah on Erev Shabbos and Tovel on
Motzei Shabbos. Rav Papa queries this from a letter by Ravin, in which he
forbids this, on the grounds that the Tevilah must follow immediately after
the Chafifah. 2) A woman examined herself on the morning of the seventh day of Nidus, and found that she was Tehorah (meaning that there was no blood), but failed to separate be'Taharah (to make the final examination at the last Bein ha'Shemashos). (a) What is the Din (with regard to the Taharos with which she dealt between her Tevilah on the eighth day and her discovery of blood) should she later discover that she is Temei'ah?.Rebbi Yehudah is more stringent regarding the Din of Hefresh be'Taharah, whereas the Rabbanan are more lenient. (d) What do *they* hold - respectively?3) Rav says that she is a Vaday Zavah, and according to Levi, she is a Safek. (a) Why can this refer neither to the Reisha of our Mishnah, nor to the Seifa?
4) The Gemara asks on Rava from 'u'Metamei Mei'es Le'es'. (a) What did Rava say?5) The Mishnah writes 'Im Yesh Lah Veses, Dayah Sha'atah. (a) Why does the Gemara think that this is a Kashya on Rav Huna bar Chiya Amar Shmuel, who holds that a woman cannot fix a Veses during her days of Zivus?6) (a) What did the Rabbanan ask Rebbi Yehudah, who requires the woman to make her final inspection on her seventh day of Nidus?Rebbi asked Rebbi Yossi and Rebbi Shimon what the Din will be if she made her final inspection on the sixth, fifth, fourth, third or second day of Nidus; he deliberately omitted the first day from his question. (b) Why did he do that?7) Rebbi Eliezer holds that a Zavah who examines herself on the first and the seven clean days, and finds that she is Tehorah, is be'Chezkas Taharah. (a) What is Rebbi Yehoshua's opinion in this matter?8) (a) And how does Rebbi Yehoshua challenge Rebbi Eliezer from a 'Zav she'Ra'ah Keri', and from a Zav she'Halach Al Gabei S'chachos u'F'ra'os? At the end of the day, Rebbi Eliezer's reasoning is not min ha'Torah, but mi'de'Rabbanan. (b) What is his reason, and why does he agree in the cases quoted in Rebbi Yehoshua's question?Rebbi Yossi and Rebbi Shimon prefer Rebbi Eliezer's reasoning to that of Rebbi Yehoshua, and that of Rebbi Akiva to that of Rebbi Eliezer. (c) Like whom do they rule? |
