1)
Rebbi Yehoshua refers to the 'To'os' as 'Shotos'. 2) If a woman tends to see blood every *second day-time*, she is permitted to make Tashmish on the eighth day after she saw, and on the night with it. (a) Which night? She is permitted in total four nights out of every eighteen days. (b) Which four, and how will this work?3) If she sees every second set of *two days*, she is permitted on the eighth (since, for the first seven days, she is a Nidah), the twelfth, the sixteenth and the twentieth days. The Gemara asks why she is not permitted on the nineteenth day. (a) Why *should* she be permitted then?4) A woman who tends to see every second set of *three* consecutive days is permitted only on the first eleventh and twelfth days, after which, she is forbidden forever. (a) Why is she not permitted on the tenth day?If she sees every second set of *four* days, she is permitted only one day in her life. (c) Which day is that?5) If she sees blood every second set of *seven* days, she will be permitted seven days out of every twenty-eight. (a) How does this work? And is she sees every second set of *eight* days, she will be permitted fifteen in every forty-eight. (b) How does that work? The Gemara asks why it is fifteen; it should be fourteen? (c) Why should it be fourteen, and why is it in fact, fifteen?
6) The Gemara attempts to bring a proof for the Sha'aleh whether the days of Nidah on which the woman does not see count in the seven clean days or not, from the Beraisa which, on the question of a woman who gives birth after seeing two days of Zivus, but who does not know whether she has given birth to a boy, a girl or just to a clot of blood, rules that she is a Safek Zavah, Safek Yoledes. She brings a Korban, which is not eaten. The Beraisa then adds that the days of birth on which she does not see, can be included in her seven clean days. (a) Why does Rav Papa object to the proof?7) If a woman sees blood every second set of *nine* days, she is permitted sight days out of every eighteen. (a) Which eight? (a) What do we learn from "ve'ha'Davah be'Nidasah" (regarding the blood of a Nidah)?9) We learn that an Even Menuga'as is not Metam'ah Mishkav and Moshav from "ha'Zav" (to exclude Even Menuga'as). The Gemara asks whether the blood of a Nidah is eligible to make a Mishkav u'Moshav, since it is not a 'bar Mishkav u'Moshav'. (a) How does the Gemara refute this question (from Even Menuga'as)?10) The Gemara learns from "ve'ha'Nosei Osom", that it is not Metamei 'be'Even Mesama'. (a) What is 'Even Mesama'? |
