Kollel Iyun Hadaf, Jerusalem 1) (a) What Chazakah does a woman have: 1. during the days of Zivus (the eleven days between Nidah and Nidah)? the period of Nidus ... 2. before the time of her Veses has arrived?; ... 3. after the time has arrived?2) Which three people have a Chezkas Tum'ah, and are therefore Tamei if they failed to make a Bedikah? 3) Rav Chisda establishes the Chidush of our Mishnah according to Rebbi Meir. (a) What does Rebbi Meir say (regarding a woman who has no Veses), and what does Rav Chisda mean? The author of our Mishnah therefore, is Rebbi Meir. (c) But, seeing as the Seifa, which deals with a woman who is hiding from robbers, goes according to Rebbi Meir, would it not seem that he is not the author of the Reisha?4) Rava learns the Chidush of the Reisha differently. (a) How does he learn it?5) Yet a fourth explanation of the Chidush of our Mishnah is that a woman cannot fix a Veses during the days of Zivus. And the same will appy when it happens the next time. (b) What did Rav Yosef add in the name of Rav Yehudah (quoting Shmuel) his Rebbe?
6) The Gemara is at first, unsure whether we should not contend, le'Chumra at least, with a Chazakah formed during the days of Zivus (e.g. if a woman sees blood, three times, fifteen days (within the days of Zivus) after the previous sighting. It will not prevent seeing three times on the twentieth day from creating a new Chazakah; But perhaps we must at least contend with seeing again on the fifteenth. (a) What are the ramifications of the query?7) Rebbi Yochanan and Resh Lakish agree that a woman can fix her Veses when she is a Zavah. (a) What is their Machlokes regarding fixing a Veses when she is a Nidah?
