***************GIRSA SECTION********************
We recommend using the textual changes suggested by the Bach, Rav B. Rensburg
and the parenthetical marginal notes of the Vilna Shas. This section is
devoted to any *OTHER* changes that we feel ought to be made in Gemara,
Rashi or Tosfos.)
[1] Rashi 22b DH u'Mufneh Gabei Behemah:
The words "Es Chayas *ha'Sadeh*"
should be "Es Chayas *ha'Aretz*"

The Halachah is that a Zav who emitted Zivah twice or three times does not
become Tahor from his Zivah until 7 "clean" days pass, during which he does
not emit any Zivah. If he emits Zivah during those days, he must begin his
count all over again (Rambam, Hil. Mechusarei Kaparah 3:1).

a Gezerah Shavah
14) [line 47] MUFNEH MI'SHNEI TZEDADIN
(a) If two similar words are open or free of any other Derashah, they may
be used unconditionally for the inference of a Gezerah Shavah.
(b) If only one of the words is used for another Derashah, there is a
Machlokes whether they may be used unconditionally for the inference of a
Gezerah Shavah, or if they can only be used for a Gezerah Shavah if we have
no logical argument not to learn the Gezerah Shavah (Lemedin u'Meshivin)
(c) If both words are used for another Derashah, there is a Machlokes
whether they can only be used for a Gezerah Shavah if we have no logical
argument not to learn the Gezerah Shavah, or if they can not be used at all
for a Gezerah Shavah
15) [line 53] LEMEDIN V'EIN MESHIVIN - We learn the Gezerah Shavah
unconditionally even if we have a logical argument not to learn the Gezerah
Shavah
