1) NEZIRUS ON CONDITION

(a) Answer #2 (Abaye): The case is, he said, 'Even if it is not Ploni, I will be a Nazir'.
1. When the Mishnah says 'He whose words were not fulfilled' - it means, he whose first words were not fulfilled, but his latter words were fulfilled.
(b) (Mishnah): If the approaching man reversed direction, (the 1st 2 men) are not Nezirim.
(c) (Gemara): This is only because the man reversed direction - had we recognized him, (the one who was correct) would be a Nazir!
(d) Question: As whom is our Mishnah?
