But Yossie didn’t want to go outside and play. Today he wanted to help prepare for Shabbos. Yossie walked through the dining room and into the living room where his brother Yaakov was standing on a stepladder washing the windows. “Yaakov,” Yossie called to his brother, “may I please help you wash the windows? I want so much to help prepare for Shabbos.”
“Oh Yossie!” Yaakov looked down, “you’re too little to wash windows. You’ll never be able to reach all the high places. Wait until you get a little older. Meanwhile, just go outside and play.”
